I am listing this vehicle for a relative. You are encouraged to phone him with any and all questions you may have. His name is Daniel and his phone number is: 502-409-3479. Here is what he has to say about the car: "This car needs total restoration. It has some typical rust issues but is overall a lot better than average. Front floor pans need replacing. Back floors look solid. Trunk has some rust thru. see pics. Frame rails look good. The standard places where most cars rust. (lower quarters. bottom of front fenders. rocker panels and corners of doors all seem to be solid. I see no signs of rust or rust that has been repaired. Hood is rust-free but has several obvious dents which someone has just slapped a wad of bondo on them. I started to strip the paint. It looks to have had one re-paint and the body seems solid. I have not verified the numbers but it appears to have the original drive train. I have started the motor and it sounded good. no ticks or rattles and no smoke. I only ran it for a short time because I was using a hand feed gas supply plus the accelerator pump on the carb was leaking pretty bad. Still. it ran smooth. Car seems to be complete except for the factory radio and wheel covers. I have both the original 6. 5 litre badges/emblems for the front fenders. The headlights. roof light and taillights all light. The sequential feature on the taillights works. The interior is plenty rough and needs restoring. I have the Marti report (see pics). In my opinion this is an above average condition big block Cougar. A good car to start with. I have a clear title in my name. Car is located in Taylorsville. KY. Again. it has been sitting for quite awhile and needs complete restoration. Please call with any questions before you bid. Call Daniel at 502-409-3479. I will need a $500. 00 deposit within 48 hours of auction's end via PayPal. The rest will be paid IN CASH ONLY upon pickup. "
