1980 Mercury Capri Hatchback.
It is equipped with the 2.3 Liter 4 Cylinder Engine and 4 Speed Transmission.
Yellow Exterior (has been repainted) and Pretty Decent Black Interior.
A Truly Factory Stock (except the Tires & Wheels), Un-Molested, 1 (one) Owner Mercury Capri!
Just over 100,000 Original Miles on the car.
If you are interested in an Original, "Fox Body" Mercury, you just have to see this car! There are NO After Market Parts or Power Adders on this car and there never has been except the tires & wheels of course.
NEVER Driven in the Snow! There is not a spec of rust anywhere on the car! This car is Beautiful for it's age! Always garaged! I did not see any rust underneath the car either. I do not have a lift to put it up on to take any pictures.
Factory AirConditioning (working condition? I never thought to try it). The Rear Window was broken out prior to my purchase butI have added a Rear Hatch with a good window to keep the elements out as it is now being stored outside. The Original Hatch is alsoincluded but as you can see by one of the pictures, it has a broken out window.

This is a One Owner Car that has never been driven in the Snow or on Salty Roads (right after Winter), always Garaged and has a Clear Title. I personally know the Original Owner who has just recently turned 80 Years Old and no longer drives. The Clutch either needs adjusting or replaced (a good time to change it to a 5 Speed). Clutch is most likely the original.
I have recently purchased this car with the intent of putting a 5.0 with T-5 Five Speed into it. I have also come to realize that I just do not have the Time or Energy to embark on the project.
Sorry, but to be perfectly clear, the Car will not be released from our possession until it has been Paid in Full and/or the Payment has Cleared the Bank (if need be). Cash is king.
