I know I am still leaving out a bunch of new parts and things that are included and have been done to the car. The car is so close to being completed that it is killing me to let it go and not to have had a chance to drive and enjoy it but we just had our first baby and I really just don't have the time or cash to finish it.
It does start right up and run, move and stop, it just needs a few things finished up to be road worthy. Mainly the exhaust needs to be installed, the wiring for the TCC lock up on the trans needs to be hooked up and a couple of other minor things like installing the hood and trunk latches(which I have). The amount of money and time I have into this car is absolutely crazy and you could never find, buy and build another one for anywhere near my asking price. I am taking a huge loss on this car that I know I will regret for years to come but I have to do what's best for my family right now and unfortunately this is one of those things that has to be done. If you ever wanted a custom lead slead this is one eye catching, head Turner and could be road ready within a few days or weeks with little money to finish. I estimate if you do the work yourself it would take about $1,000.00 to be ready to go. If you have a shop do it then obviously I wouldn't know thier price but would think about $3,000.00 should have you ready to go. I just unfortunately don't have the money or time right now as mentioned with a new baby, and we need to still repair our house from a denied hurricane insurance claim. It's seriously breaking my heart to let this go because with just a little bit more time and money I could probably get almost double what I am letting it go for now. Great investment if you flip and sell cars or you can save literally thousands and thousands of dollars rather than building one from scratch! There is a similar one with a Carson top being sold right now on Ebay for $115,000.00! If you are in the market for a nice hot rod/ lead slead then it would honestly be foolish to let this one slip away and not take advantage of my situation and take with you one of the coolest cars ever produced! As the saying goes "Everyone's crazy about a Mercury". Pull up to that local car show or meet in something truly unique and different, not the same thing people build and see all the time!
Thanks for looking and bid to win before it's gone. I will be advertising this locally also, so if you really want to take advantage of this then feel free to contact me and we can do a "Buy it Now" if you don't want to let it get away!
