I AM STARTING OFF THIS AUCTION FOR LESS THAN THE MOTOR COST!!!
there is a lotof dust over vehicle but wipes up and polishes like new
The primer was a waterborne that was pealing off so I stripped most of it.
Body line changed to baby Lincoln of era.
Body was done very sturdy and professional if you want to keep a 4 door Cali Convertible.
Lets start off with the multi use stuff that can fit numerous years and models of Mercs: (if you want to part it out)
NEW Motor Ford 460 and C6 Tranny can be used in anything as well as the rear end.
Hear it run on youtube This is it's first start ever after oil prime. on youtube put in "1951 mercury Pleasant Hill Collision". It is a little 50 sec or so.
NEW, I was told Fat Man Frame cost $12k+ and will fit many Mercurys of this era.
Custom One Piece Front End, I believe it can be fitted to 2 door models also. It would cost well over $5k to build!
Air ride can be used on just about anything Cost $4600 installed. Vehicle lifted in most photos. It rides very low and can basically lay frame!
Bear claw Latches in doors.
Billet Dash Gauge set up.
Grill set up is for Desoto Teeth but do not have anymore.
Brake booster on frame, I have brake line kit but not installed.
Since last photo, Fuel door and tail lamp areas have been molded in, Just had driveline built and installed.
Flamed Billet leather steering wheel but has a few scratches on top of Billet Colum.
No pedals, no shifter linkage
Certificate of Title from Washington (pink slip)
Over $40,000 invested and it looks like this. What a Shame.
All Mached up and fitting done needs clean up and finish bodywork to be beautiful or use all the good stuff on your 2 door.
Big Ol Electric Fluffy seat out of 70s or 80s Lincoln
Please send message if you have any questions this is a big project.
This will not be an easy one for shippers being that it does not move on it's own power so be sure to let them know.
