1973 Mercury Montego GT

1973 Mercury Montego GT. There were less than 5000 Montego Gt's made in 1973. This car has the number matching 400 ci 2V motor, C6 trans and.9 Inch rear end. Car has bucket seats with column shifter. car.has only 75000 miles on it. Interior was redone in 2014 and is in great condition. I had the car repainted it's original color in 2018. Paint is a single stage and is in great condition. Paint job is not a good guys award winning quality, but gets compliments every where I take it. Car runs and drives great. I also had the engine upgraded to a edelbrock intake and Holley 600cfm carb and electronic ignition, dual exhaust with flowmasters. Also had new trans mount, idle arm, rear axle seal and rear brakes. Brand new magnum 500 wheels and tires with less than 100 miles on them. Car has A/C, it turns on but does not blow cold. Last owner installed a switch under the dash to turn on the A/C, not sure why. Heater works as it should. All gauges and.lights.work except amperage gauge. A after market sunroof was added back in the day and works as it should. Could not find any rust on the car trunk and floor pans.are excellent condition. Front bumper has some rust on it, rear bumper is in great shape. Rear deck lid and dash have never been cut up. This car has been garaged the majority of its life. Car will come with the original owner manuals, maintenance paperwork, original intake, carb, air cleaner and a car cover.
