1973 Mercury Montego MX

1973 Mercury Montego MX, 302 V8, Automatic Transmission, A/C, Remote Mirror. Two owner survivor, original drivetrain and interior, runs great, shifts smoothly and floats down the road. Dual exhaust, purrs like a cat. All lights, horn, wipers, lighter, warning lights, door & seatbelt buzzers, radio, fuel & temperature gauges work as they should. A/C needs a charge and speedometer stopped working. The trunk, floors, frame & rockers are all in great shape. The vinyl top is gone but the window channel around the rear window is rock solid, no rot. The front seat is split on some seams but is very comfortable, rear seat, headliner, carpet, door panels & dash are all very nice. She won't win a beauty pageant but if you want to remember what it was like to go to the local drive in to see Jaws with 6 friends in the car & 3 more hiding in the trunk, this Montego is for you. Cool car, cool 1970's feel & vibe, things were a whole lot simpler back then. Enjoy, bid on some American Steel & keep it here where it belongs.
