Up for your consideration is this 1964 MERCURY COMET CALIENTE FACTORY HURST FOUR SPEED CONVERTIBLE. The top is powered and it does work. The body is what I would rate a 6.5 to 7 out of 10. To bring it back to show condition it would need a lot of work. But the body is overall very solid and would make a nice driver as is. The under carriage has no rot holes and is super solid. The interior is very good with only a tear in the driver side of the front seat. The car has a storied history displayed on the dash with many rally badges under it's belt. The power train is worth bragging about with a 260 V8 and a four barrel EDELBROCK carburetor and of course headers. She sports a FACTORY FOUR SPEED HURST TRANSMISSION and has TRACTION BARS as well. In addition she has a FACTORY CORRECT REAR END and CRAGAR WHEELS. This CALIENTE runs and goes down the road just fine and then some! You collectors know what you are looking at and have a good idea what this rare barn find is worth when finished. *** The odometer is showing 399 miles on it and of course the true miles are unknown.*** Please check out the pictures and by all means ask any questions you my have. Good Luck Bidding!
