Car description |

1971 Mercury Cyclone GT, no paperwork so selling as a parts car. Has not been registered since 1993. I bought it years ago as a project but never got around to it. Best description I can give .
Engine is a 429 Cobra Jet. Photos of heads, block, and intake manifold. Rusted out headers. Missing carb and distributor. Power brake vacuum booster missing. Radiator included.
Front grill area vacuum operated headlight door system. Also includes separate bullseye grill center section (shown in separate picture).Rear taillight area. 3 taillights each side. Also includes center grill which is usually missing (see separate picture).Interior bucket seats, rear seats, door panels, and rear side panels included. No center consul. Rimblow steering wheel with original Cyclone centerpiece. 140 mph speedometer, original tach, oil pressure, amps, and temp gauges installed. Dash pad does have typical cracks. Glass is good except windshield need to be replaced.Body, front fenders have some dents, replacements are included. Hood has a little rut in forward pax side. Doors have small rust spots in the corners. Rear quarters are good, little rust behind tires (typical). 9 inch rear, dont know what the ratio is. Pax side floor forward of pax seat has some rust.Overall a great parts car as it has many hard to find parts for a 1970-1971 Cyclone. The car can be restored if you choose to do so. I DO NOT HAVE ANY PAPERWORK FOR THE CAR. License plates tag shows 1993. If you have any questions, please ask. I can take any additional photos you may want. Thanks. 510-384-5681
