1955 Mercury Montclair 2-door hardtop *excellent condition*

For sale: A 1955 Mercury Montclair in excellent condition. This very nice 50's Merc from California (I have a copy of the CA title) is very straight. original. and complete. The 292 V-8 runs smoothly and the Merc-O-Matic automatic transmission operates well too. The chrome and stainless are very good. Factory dual exhaust sounds great. 12 Volt electronic ignition. Has power steering and a recent heavy-duty battery. The radial wide whites are in great shape and have excellent correct hubcaps. The Montclair was the Top-of-the Line car for Mercury in '55. The black and white color combo is very striking and stylish. The redone interior was made in the correct style and materials to give it a correct look and comfort. The interior is really excellent. with a great dash and nice steering wheel. All gauges work. All lights and turn signals. front and back work. The body and paint are very good. I passed a magnet all along the body and found it to be very good indeed. Good undercarriage. Very clean. complete. and original engine compartment. Great looking trunk area. The glass is very good. The light lenses are very good. also. The following: all new in 2014: 12 volt generator. voltage regulator. wiring harness. electronic ignition. power steering redone. battery. WWW radials. gas line and filter. front fender and deck lid emblems. front hood emblem. horn ring. new mirrors. Even the glovebox light. courtesy lights and cigarette lighter work.
