1991 Mercury Capri XR2 Convertible

This a 1991 Mercury XR2 Convertible. I have owned this vehicle for the last 20+ years.The condition is good with a some very minor cosmetic issues. The engine and transmission are in great running condition. I would have no problem with driving this across the country. This vehicle does not burn oil, compression is high, the Turbo is ingreat condition, and manual Five Speed transmission isalso good.The doors are very solid with no rust and only atwo rust spots that are at locations where debris collect, those are shown in the photos. The rocker panels are in good shape as is the rest of the body. There is a very minor scuff to the left rear plastic bumper edge. This vehicle has never been run during the winter. The floors are all very solid, and the carpeting is in good shape.The top is in great shape with a two smallcracks by the base of the rear portion of the top, should be easy to repair (I have pictured one of them).Seats are clean and in good condition with the exception of a worn area on drivers seat backrest edge which is very common from getting in and out of vehicle. The Air Conditioning works but does need a recharge of R12. Tires are in good shape and nearly new. Stereo has upgraded speakers but would benefit from a higher end stereo. The Struts have been replaced last Summer as well as CV shafts, and all new wheel bearings. Had recent four wheel alignment and the handling in very tight. Fog lights are in working condition but will require replacement as both lens are broken which is common due to their location being so low. I do have new fog lights ready to install included.
