Please take a moment to read My name is Arekluz. I've had a passion for classic cars and trucks since I was a kid. and I have been restoring them since 1984. I've held onto five of my rare vehicles since I closed down my shop/warehouse and kept them registered. insured and driven. with the exception of my F-250 Ford truck that has been parked in the garage for some time now. Do to my wife's recent business success / invention our lives have taken a turn and lead us on a journey across the nation and Europe as well. I have always been against letting a vehicle stay parked for a long period of time. so I am at a point where I have to sell or store my vehicles till who knows when. I've come to the decision of listing my vehicles including a motorcycle I recently purchased in hopes of finding that "one" individual that would be interested in making the right deal. I kindly ask if you know of anyone that would be interested to please forward my listings to them. This will be a ten day auction so I can reach as many people as I can. all my vehicles will have a reserve and will begin and end at the same time. Please click on "see other items" under my seller information / username at the top right corner to see all. I look forward and will be more than happy to answer all questions. all I ask is for your patience as we are on the road most of the time. Thank you. My super rare 1965 Mercury Monterey with a 6. 4L 390 big block and factory 3-Speed two door coupe. Local Burbank California car since new. This car was a special order car from the factory with no A/C. no radio. no reverse lights and a 3-speed on the column. According to gentlemen he strictly ordered this car from the factory for one purpose which was to tow his 31' Air stream trailer and that this was the last produced off the line. but I have no way of proving this. Only his word and he has since passed. Please take a close look at the pictures of this car to truly understand uniqueness and rarity. There were a little over 5700 Monterey coupes built in 1965 mostly automatic transmission. I don't recall ever running into a full size sedan that has a factory 3-speed mated to a big block. The car is very powerful. drives like a dream. sounds excellent and gets a lot of compliments every time it's driven. The cars mileage is the original 71000. the body is Super Straight with only the exception of the right rear corner (seen in picture) and a small rust spot on the rocker the size of quarter. The car was painted the original color by Macco back in 1982. There are a box full of original parts of the car such as the arm rests mirrors. manual. a brand new water pump and miscellaneous stuff that I have never had a moment to go through. The car sits under a cover in my driveway when not driven. nbsp;registered. insured. clean California title in my name. What I have done. New rebuilt carburetor. battery. nbsp;belts. hoses. plugs. wires. point. nbsp;rotor. cap and new tires. What needs to be done. Driver side wheel cylinder needs to be replaced (slow leak). Intake manifold gasket was dry from sitting prior to my purchase. needs replacing (slow leak)Float on sending unit needs to be replaced (has deteriorated). Paint and interior. Drive as is or restore and own a very rare classic sedan. Thank you and please click on see other items.
