Relisted freshly washed & with better pics (got a lot of "is the paint okay" questions last time). 1989 Mercedes-Benze 560SEL in a rare color combo. Excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. Low miles. Well sorted. Hydro-pneumatic suspension sorted when I got it last year (new spheres) and does not sag. New shocks. Recent brakes. Good tread. Front and rear heated/reclining seats. Huge rear seat. Huge trunk. Clean. Non-smoker. Not rusted. Paint very good shape. Wheels all very good too (not peeling cracking etc. ). Power options all work - radio/casette (I use a Monster cassette adapter to listen to my iPhone). Sunroof. p/w. cc. p/l. A/C. Heat. Interior is in very good condition - no rips. tears etc. Seats look like they should for a low mile Benz of this vintage. Wood in very good shape. There is a small chip on the tambor door over the center console. Otherwise it's all there and what you'd expect. Cupholders added in wheelwells up front. Easy to remove. Just a screw through the carpet is all. I bought this car in the first half of 2013 from a reputable dealer in PA who specializes in old. low mile German cars (the same seller who has a bunch of these 560SELs listed north of $10-15k). I paid over $12. 5 k and it had 53k miles on it. I've put about 9k miles on it. I've used it to commute occasionally. rotating with other vehicles I own. I've kept it maintained; has just had oil change; has recent brakes and new rear tires. It is getting a full tune plugs/cap/rotors/wires with correct Bosch parts this week. I have 8 cars -- two BMWs. two 560SELs (this is the better of the two). an '86 Mustang GT. CTS-V. Rubicon. '73 Buick -- and need to sell some to make way for a new Jeep Wrangler. I have a lift and a mechanic who works on all my cars. my motorhome and my motorcycles 2 days a month. I also have a 1991 560SEL in Gold with Brown interior. Runs and drives excellent. Was wrecked and repaired. but the paint's not hot and the panel fit isn't where they repaired it. Airbag may not be working on it. Radio doesn't work but cassette does. Has about 36k mi & mles are original. Interior and drivetrain are mint -- like new. Suspension works great etc. That car can go with this one for an additional $4. 00. at buyer's option. I bought it for parts but it turned out to be in really good shape so I put it back on the road and rotated it in with this one to keep it working. If you buy both. you should have a lifetimes supply of low mileage parts to keep one on the road indefinitely. Fresh cap/rotor/plugs wires done last week. New air filter. too. Oil was just changed last week. All tires on both cars have plenty of tread. Gold one's tires have less than 2k mi. Fronts on Blue one prob have 10-15 k in them & rears are new. Was also asked re: ball joints; front suspension will need a new ball joint at some point in the next year. You are invited to bring your mechanic and inspect and test drive it. Car is sold as is where is with no warranties express or implied. I'm not a dealer. I am not a car expert. By day I'm a lawyer and I've not worked on a car since this one was new :) $1. 00 deposit due within 24 hours of auction close.
