1982 Mercedes-Benz 300CD, GREAT DAILY DRIVER

Your looking at a 1982 300CD. and a great daily driver. The exterior is a dark blue with pin stripping. and the interior is dark blue and clean. The interior looks great. and the seats have no fading or damage. The car has been used as one of my daily drivers when I am home. The engine and tranny run smoother and strong. I love that I can fill it up and feel like I drive forever before it needs more fuel. All major maintenance has been done. The car only needs a little body work. and some little minor touches. Being a 33 year old car. and all original. it does have a few minor things. Lets start with the worse. both front fenders have a little body rot on the lower sections of the fenders. The right rear panel has a little surface rust on it. I plan on having that dealt with before the car is delivered. Of course their are a few scratches here and there. nothing major. The sunroof needs to have the drive motor belt replace. The tach is not working at this time. and the little silver dial cover for the speedometer had come loose. All other guages are working fine. There is a Blaupunkt radio with a cassette player that the prior owner put in. I recently replaced some front end parts. add 4 new tires. and had an alignment done on the car. The car has M-B carpets. they were removed for cleaning and show that the floor pans are solid. I have been dealing with a bad back. and this car makes it easy for me to travel in. I have cars that I have not been able to drive. because they are to rough riding or to hard to get in/out of. The 300CD is just a pleasure to drive. Only listing it because I will be needing to move. and need to down size. This car is being sold as is. with no warranty. You are welcome to inspect the car. just need to set up an appointment. I was looking over the 300CD today. and notice that I missed o few items that I wish to bring to your attention. The dash does have some cracks. nothing big and bad. I have used dash pad cover caps in the past with other W123 cars. It cost $116. 00 from the auto trim store. or you can also get them at AutoHauz. com. They are a molded cap. so once you put it on. you will not notice that there is a cap. The second item is that the radio is not operating now. It was working the last time I used the car. Must be something easy to fix. I have ordered a new antenna. since the one on the car is broken. The front left (top of bumper)bumper trim is missing. These are items I could fix. but with my back operation. I am not able to do any work. P. S. Car ran great. a part of me really does not want to sell this car.
