This work included a full engine overhaul by the respected Metric Engines in southern Califorina and the installation of a 3. 27:1 rear axle to allow far more refined touring. The car was also fitted with electronic ignition. Additionally. the transmission was overhauled as necessary and most of the external badges and lenses were renewed with OE components. The result as illustrated by the images below is absolutely stunning. This SL retains its original front fenders. matching number hood. original trunk floor and rear light panel.
