1982 MERCEDES 240D DIESEL. NON TURBO. 2 FAMILY TEXAS OWNERS SINCE 1984Car has Power Steering; Power Windows; Power Brakes; Air Conditioner converted to Freon 134; Automatic Transmission; Almost New Tires; Cloth Car Cover. I have Restored the car to almost 95% Orignial Condition. mostly minor problems. replaced battery. new starter. headlight rims. center console cover. center arm rest. fan relays. right hand door mirror. left side floor carpet. speedometer. other minor problem. front door seals. the only seat that even shows any use is the driver's. others look almost new. everything works except cruse control as far as I know. approx. cost that I have spent in restoration is about $1200. Car runs and drives out with no appearent problems. engine has not used any or very little oil. I have car records that shows a Texas owner purchased the car in 1984 from the orignial owner and it has stayed in the family untill I purchased it in 2013. The car had 208. 00 indicated on the speedometer before it was replaced. is way above average for the model and mileage.
