Car description |

Relisting due to the last high bidder thinking the car was in Los Angeles. The car is in Alameda, Ca. : The San Francisco Bay Area.
Up for grabs is my 1985 Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo mode, 123 4 door sedan.
I've had 8 or 9 123 diesels over the year, and this one is by far the quietest runnin, and smoothest shifting one I've owned.
She really shows well, and gets the thumbs up from strangers everyda, everywhere.
The turbo really gives the vehicle plenty of boos, and on any of my trips to Southern Californi, this baby flew over the Grapevine with zero problems.
She doesn't leak or burn too much oil ....much less then most
I've put in a fair bit of work to this 'ol girl in the time I've owned her:
New brakes all the way around (5 months ago)
New tires including spare (2 years ag, still at roughly 75%)
Brand new glow plug, a very expensive jo, but quite worth it
new rear axle
new battery
Oil and Fuel filters religiously changed every 2000 miles
Her power sunroof works
all power windows work with the exception of the driver side rear which put very recently (I suspect the switch but haven't had a chance to check)
She has the Merceds jac, lug wrench and a full size spare tire
All owners manuals
Blaupunkt detachable face Stereo am/fm CD
A few extra filter, transmission filter fuse, bulbs etc.
AC: nope
Heat: yep
Registration: current
The Odometer reads 162,00, but it's not working. My mechanic (German Auto in Alameda) sai, judging by the smoothness of the moto, his guess would be somewhere around 2-250,00. miles. For a 123 ... that is just getting started.
Title is Salvaged. She had a fender bender at some point in her lif, but it's pretty hard to tell where. One or two little rust spots ...but she looks pretty darned good.
These cars run forever and this one is no exception.
She runs perfect, gets great milage and is a vintage classic.
I just changed the listing to a No Reserve! Auction! GOOD LUCK!Someone is going get a really sweet classic Benz.
Good luck and thanks for looking!!!On Aug-20-20 at 06:41:25 PDT, seller added the following information:
