1986 Mercedes Benz 300E Factory 5 Speed Manual US Spec RARE!!!

Up for bids is an EXTREMELY RARE 1986 Mercedes-Benz 300EFACTORY5-Speed manual. This car was accepted for Bring a Trailer auctions on May 1, 2020 (see screenshot in photos) I have been waiting patiently for over 7 weeks and they have still not assigned me an auction date, citing technical difficulties. I chose not to wait any longer. I am now presenting this beauty for bids here on eBay Motors. These 5-speed manuals were only ever sold in the US in 1986 and by special order in 1988, between the two years the production figures are estimated at less than 300 total vehicles. Astral Silver Metallic over Dove Grey MB-Tex. Hand painted double pinstripe in teal and powder gray. This car starts right up and runs great. Air conditioning is nice and COLD! All power windows work. Power antenna works. Stereo works. All lights work properly. All gauges work. This Benz is over 30 years old and looks great for its age. This is a driver quality 300E, it has been repainted at some point in the past and has age-oriented wear and blemishes. These early manual W124's are very hard to find and therefore I think would be a great addition to any collection or just a fun second car to cruise around in. Lots of recent maintenance and a current Pennsylvania safety and emissions inspection. Incredibly fun to drive on back roads ;)
