Car description

Was imported early in life to the USA and based on it's lack of rust, has been a New Mexico desert car most of its life.
This came from an estate sale so the history is unknown. I bought this to restore but now with the virus and lack of work I am selling off some of my cars.
The new mexico sun has oxidized the red paint on the top surfaces of the car. It may buff back to a shine as I tested a small area with some compound. This is not the original paint, it was repainted from it's original light metallic blue to this red. They must have painted it during the engine swap as the engine bay is red as well. The roof was stored so it is still shiney red.
No evidence of accidents or rust damage. Rockers and inner fenders are solid. Floors and trunk pan are solid.
The leather seats are very nice. The dash has some cracks. Door panels are nice.
This should have a 3.5 liter euro engine but has the later 4.5 liter V8 in it. The door tag suggests a 5.0 liter but I am uncertain.
The car sat a long time. The engine runs, brakes work but it needs a going through to be sure it's safe and reliable. It has a new fuel pump and the fuel tank was cleaned by a radiator shop.
The hardtop has not been removed so I do not know the health of the top, but based on the oxidized paint, I'm suggesting it is not in great shape. Bid as though the soft top is bad - maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised when you remove the roof....maybe not.
Rear tires have slow leaks - hold air for about a week before deflating so it can be transported easily enough.
Some special features of this early Euro car:
Desireable small bumpers with no over-riders.Euro headlights.Crank windows! I don't know about you but I prefer less electronics.
This car has a lot of potential to be nice but it is sold as-is where is.I have an excellent affordable shipper if interested or you can find your own. Very affordable and nice guy.I can hold the car for 6 weeks while you plan shipping / pick-up.
Deposit via paypal is required within 24hrs.
