1984 Mercedes Benz 300TD WagonEuro Model (Federal Emissions Compliant)100k 2 Owner MilesAstral Silver MetallicBlack InteriorNeeds Nothing!Shows as a 25k Mile wagon!
This 1984 Mercedes-Benz 300TD is a excellent example of a very nice, original, honest mile car that has been cared for to a level you do not typically see. It is my firm belief that the only snow this wagon has ever seen is when I took these photos. It has never been exposed to the elements, both snow, and extreme heat, which has kept her well preserved.
This TD has a regal history. It was a European order, which typically was ordered with a naturally aspirated OM617 diesel, but this one was ordered from the factory as a turbo model with all the trimmings. (notice the bumpers and other visual cues). This car was purchased by a well known member of German aristocracy and was purchased for the family nanny.
The car was imported to the US in 1986 and Federalized. This is a big deal and it is 50 State compliant, most of these were imported on the grey market, and have issues when being titled in certain States, not this wagon. Title it in all 50 States, no problem! Clean and clear original title, impeccable well documented Carfax report.
The wagon has put into continued use by the original family when they moved to the US and was used to gather groceries and other nominal tasks. The wagon stayed in the family until about a decade ago, when it was purchased by a collector from PA, who took excellent care of it. I am a avid collector of W123 cars and purchased this as part of my collection, not so much for its' history, which is excellent, but for its' documentation and overall condition.
The TD has always been expertly maintained by Mercedes-Benz themselves, or alternatively, one of the most well known independent Mercedes specialist in the Country.
When something was broke, it was fixed. Everything works, and she drives like new! Beautiful dash, excellent SLS system, and vacuum system.I have a pass. side plastic drip rail that needs to be installed, will install before sale.
If you are looking for a "trouble free" wagon, this would be my first choice. Beautiful paint, interior, undercarriage...she is just a choice piece I wouldn't be afraid to drive anywhere.
Stamped maintenance book, window sticker, service records, original spare...Original Becker stereo is removed in favor of a better aftermarket bluetooth unit, but rest assured, the original is included.
The rear headrests were removed for ease of seeing out the back window.
I have been collecting W123's for years...this is a fine example. It's worth every dollar. This is what I paid for it a few years ago, nonwithstanding the thousands I put into it!
Payment in cash in person or wire transfer only. Payment must be made within 3 business days. Wagon is for sale on other sites and auction can be ended in the event of a local sale. Listed locally at $11,500 I can assist with shipping worldwide!
