Car description

1978 Mercedes Benz 280CE6 cylinder GAS engine. which you don't see many of around. This sweet ride could be someone's fun project car. or it could be a parts car. * sniff. sniff* :(Sad to see her go. but moving soon and won't have anywhere to store her. Hoping someone that is into restoring old Mercedes could give her a makeover!Full Disclosure: Hey. it's an old car. with it's quirks and issues. but does it have personality! :)Engine runs well. but issue with fuel pump/fuel supply and stalls out after about 10 minutes. Ran fine until mechanic replaced leaky fuel lines by fuel filter. Took it back to mechanic where it sat for six months with no effort to fix. So we took it back and have stored it covered in our driveway ever since. (That was in June 2013) Before that. it passed California smog test in 2012. Salvaged title. but previous owner loved car and elected to make all repairs after minor accident. No frame damage. Body in great shape for it's age. Some slight rust. but not too noticeable. Light blue paint with matching hubcaps. The passenger side door alignment needs to be adjusted. For some reason it doesn't close flush with the body. Low mileage on new tires. Full size spare in good condition. Odometer stopped at @138K. but approx. 150. 00 miles total on engine. Needs exhaust repair/replacement. Beige interior in decent condition. Working sunroof. power windows. Fan blows but AC needs recharge and probably needs a new belt. Needs a heater servo for the heater to work. It was disconnected because it leaked. Has a modern cd player with 6cd changer in the trunk. We also have the original radio. Currently registered as non-op in California Will need to pass smog test to get registered as street legal in CA. Buyer responsible for tow.
