Car description |
---|
This is a very distinguished looking vehicle and complete. The car was purchased from California with plans to restore it back to full operation but time and other projects are pretty much making it impossible.
The odometer reads 37895 but cannot be verified due to the age of the car.
The car is badged as a 3.5L engine but has a 4.5L engine. Mechanically, the engine itself turns but needs work as the compression is low on both sides. I believe that the head gasket needs replaced at a minimum. The air ride suspension components are all there but it needs attention. Otherwise, it is in pretty reasonable shape.
The body has surface rust in spots where a previous owner had body work done. No holes through any panels. The interior needs the wood trim on the dash replaced but all of the other interior parts are ok.
If shipping is needed, I can help arrange shipping but all costs are the buyer's responsibility. If the buyer is located within 50 miles of Des Moines, IA, the car can be trailored at minimum cost.
The car is being sold as-is with the understanding that it needs restored. No warranty or guarantee is offered. The car is also being listed locally and I reserve the right to remove this listing at any time.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I am no Mercedes expert but I will do my best to answer all inquiries completely.
Thanks!
