Very rare gorgeous 1985 230CE survivor, four cylinder four speed manual transmission 90% original Champagne Gold paint with black cloth interior that shows no wear. This car was purchased new in Germany by the original female owner, shipped to Palo Alto California one year later were it remained until 2012 when it was willed to her nephew whom had the car shipped to Boca Raton Florida,In 2016 four new Billstein shocks and new brakes all around were installed. In 2017 my friend purchased the car. Interesting story as this car is never to have been imported to the U.S. market. All original owners manual assorted books and First Aid kit in German are still in the glovebox. We have not been able to determine whether or not the speedometer cluster has been replaced since it reads in MPH (?) odometer is reading 315,659 miles, strange since the car appears as an under 50,000 mile pampered car would so is being sold as milage unknown.Description title listed as 1980,being a "Grey Market, never imported to US" the system would not list as a 1985 230CE, Clear Ohio title transferred from Fla. Upon arrival to Ohio two months ago the Bosch fuel injection was refurbished with new fuel pump, accumulator, flushed, cleaned car runs as new.The transmission and clutch seem to be 100%.All glass is good no fogging or excessive scratches that many older vehicles all seem to have. The only issues are minor cracks in the dash pad that may show in the pictures, fuel gauge is temperamental but working,A/C is fully intact with belt on and running not cold,a few chips and dings to be expected none if any show in pictures. Located 30 miles south of Cleveland Ohio.
