Selling my baby, a 1985 Mercedes 300CD in excellent running condition. I bought this car a year ago from my mechanic and it has been an amazing everyday driver for me since then. The engine runs like a dream and the interior is very clean with the exception of a few tears in the mb-tex and cracks in the dashboard. Climate control works as well as the AC but that needs a recharge before it's blowing cold again. The body is in 8/10 shape right now. No structural damage or rust but a couple dents and faded paint. There is almost no rust on this car and the only spots are on the surface from rock chips and one in the door jamb. All the windows work but sunroof needs a new cable before opening. This car has 227,000 miles on it which is low for the Benz' as they are known to go up to anywhere from 500k to 800k miles. Also worth noting is that I put in a new Alpine stereo and new Phoenix Gold speakers; they sound great and it's better than a tape player.
This car has been great to me and it can be great to you too. If taken care of, this car will more than likely outlive you, and as is, it just needs a little bit of love to take it to that level. I have owned three of these in my life and this one is the one of the best running W123's that I have ever driven and the Turbo diesel coupes are pretty damn hard to find.
Ideally looking for a local pick up in Seattle.
