Car description |

To make room for a new acquisition, I am selling my 1971 Mercedes 250 sedan w114. It's the 2.8L, straight 6 and pulls hard and clean and burns no oil. Super high compression, and all new fluids. All suspension, brakes, and misc. other maintenance items have been addressed to ensure a smooth sale to the lucky new Owner. The tires are gorgeous white walls and are brand new. Something in the odometer broke, and it now goes up very slowly. It reads 36K, and I have probably put no more than 400 miles on it since I have owned it. This car is super clean inside, outside, and underside.
GARAGE KEPT ALWAYS.
This vintage Mercedes drives so nice you can use it as a show car that is fully sorted out and drives like a new one. I drive it once a week, without fail and it always runs without a hiccup.
This car exudes elegance, class, and German refinement.
The exterior is in 92% condition. I just had an expensive paint correction done and it's 100% free of swirls, but it had about 2-3 scratches that are apprx. 1 to 1.5 inches. There is no fading, no peeling at all and it looks stunning at 5' feet, no question! There is a tiny chip in the bottom left of windshield that has been drilled so it will not crack. The oil pan seal needs to be replaced, as such it has developed a small drip. This issue is nothing a Tupperware lid under the car won't handle.
The interior is in 95% condition, as I stated the odometer isn't functional but can be repaired. There's a new headliner. I have the original mats, as well as the coco mats that are pictured.
The car has modern speakers and just needs a head unit installed. I personally don't want one and drive this car to relax, free my mind, and take a step back in time. I feel like a true gentleman every time I coast down the roads of Boca Raton and Palm Beach.
I have original books as well.
The AC was just recharged and will give you frost bite. This classic Benz needs nothing to run great and drive daily for another 25-30K miles, just do regular oil changes.
I am a modest car collector and I can say that this car gets more thumbs up than any other car I have had in my collection.
