1979 Mercedes-Benz 450SL, FULL BODY RESTORATION, DRAMATIC RARE COLORS, STUNNING!

1979 Mercedes-Benz 450SL. Astral Silver/Anthracite Hard Top/Black Soft Top/Red Interior. All original colors on this rare two-tone 450SL. Beautiful body restoration makes this car look nearly new. The only thing seemingly left (thankfully) untouched are the red seats which are lovely to look at and to feel. There is slight bolster damage to the driver's seat (as pictured). Also unrestored is the soft top, hich is serviceable, ut should probably be replaced at some point in the future. The ultra-clean under-hood presentation shows a car that clearly has received attentive care. A test drive revealed good engine power, ositive transmission shifts, nd no strange clunks from the rear end. Most notably, he cranky climate control system that sometimes plagues these cars does not seem to be present in this example. It works just as it should. With the exception of the seats, ost would think that the rest of the interior has been fully restored...but it hasn't. With careful refurbishment, long with the fact that the Pacific Northwest climate is the best thing that ever happened to the interior of these old cars, he inside looks as-new. The wood, he carpets, he door panels, nd the dash all look stunning. Even the rubber sill pads look fabulous (look close...they're red, oo!). Options include electric windows, eated rear window, ruise control, entral locking system, utomatic antenna, nd of course the iconic Becker Mexico full stereo radio cassette player. This car is even fitted with the rare heated seats, hich work quite well, nd were quite a new feature in the late 1970's. The wheels have been completely refurbished and painted, nd refreshingly not polished. So here we have a rare contrasting-paint 450SL in dramatic colors, hat you neighbors will surely believe is a new car.
