Very unique W123 1985 Mercedes 230TE Wagon, spd manual "gasser", ot diesel ! This beautiful vintage Estate is in superb condition for being 30 years old. The engine is the original unmolested 2.3L gas motor with 5 speed manual, ngine is rated at 134hp and good for 28 mpg highway and currently has 240k miles and runs flawlessly. This is the same motor found in the 190 series sedans therefore parts are readily available and mostly interchangeable between the two models. I had the car painted a little over a year ago and the quality is second to none. The interior of the car is also in above average condition for its age; there are no rips or worn areas in any of the seats and the headliner is in beautiful condition. It does have a custom molded plastic dash cap which perfectly matches the blue interior. All glass is intact and the 4 power windows operate as they should. Being that it is a Grey market model, he following options were only available in Europe: cloth interior as opposed to the MBtex vinyl found in US bound wagons, maller bumpers giving the car much cleaner lines than the giant DOT bumpers, ual frequency Alpine horn, anual sliding sunroof, city lights" as well as built-in fog/driving lamps in factory headlights, nd lastly a rear driver's side fog light. Other ROW options such as power windows, ir conditioning, acuum central locking system, djustable headlights, nd self-leveling rear suspension are all in functioning condition. The car has no driveability issues and can be driven anytime anywhere. Also included are the original dealer service booklet stamps from Germany, riginal tool kit and spare tire. Plus, will also include a complete set of factory correct wheels with chrome MB star hubcaps, heels do need refurbished but they are the correct wheels for this car. This is a beautiful example of a vintage Mercedes which would be a wonderful acquisition for any fanatic Benz collector. Do some research as I have and you'll discover that this is perhaps one of only a handful 230TE Mercedes wagons in the USA or even North America for that matter so this is probably the only time you will ever have the opportunity to purchase and own one as a collector.
