Mercedes 230S For Restoration or Parts

Up for sale is our 50 year old 230S Mercedes offered for restoration or a parts car at no reserve. Please study the pictures, hey serve better than words to describe her. Although Mechanically the engine sounds healthy and has good compression for an older car, nd she does not smoke, rakes are good, teering appears fine, s does the suspension, e are selling her as a NON RUNNER, ince there seems to be a problem with the wiring, o the engine can be run with by passing the ignition switch. Transmission is the automatic 4 speed that came from a donor car that operated fine at the time we installed it a couple of years ago. Has the factory spare, ack and lug wrench. Had A/C from the factory. She is structurally sound and we have clear California title. For California buyers she will be sold with current tags.

And now for a more detailed version of the bad things :

1- The engine leaks oil, nd cannot be run as is, e have not looked into it, nly that the last time she was started, he leaked heavily on our drive way and that was the end of her for us.

2- I was told by an employee that the transmission also leaks oil.

3- Exhaust needs work,

4- She has a new water pump, ut the fan and belts need to be installed.

5- She will most certainly need a service, s well the above items (and some other items no doubt!) fixed before being a driver.

6- As mentioned above, here seems to be a problem with the wiring.

7- There is a crack in the windshield
