Hello everyon, the time has come to part with my beloved mx5.Had the car for 4 years and have extensively modded it over the years.Lets start with the exterior, the car shows wel, I have not done anything except add a roof spoiler and tint, paint is original and has its fair share of scratches and a few dings here and there.the car is almost 28 years old and the exterior shows use, shines very well so I left as is .Comes with hardtop however the paint is faded on the hardtop.Never bothered me I like the patina.The engine was remove, dissassembld, and rebuilt using eagle rods, je pistons and ring set, acl race bearings,cometic head gasket, apr head studs, gates timing bel, new water pump and all associated gaskets.The engine has less than 200 miles on it and is not fully broken in yet.Runs strong, block was honed and decked, slight over bore to fit the je 9:1 pistons.The engine was built right, head was also rebuilt at this tim, head is stoc, but fresh.Other add ons include mishimoto aluminum radiator, mishimoto fan shroud with dual fans, fuel pressure regulator with gauge, flying miata aluminum dual feed fuel rail, external oil cooler, and a begi s3 turbo kit.The turbo kit was specifically designed to fit this car by bell engineering, everything fits perfect, looks stock.Turbo is a garret gt 2860rs, oil and water cooled, has a front mount intercooler, rc 550 injectors, Megasquirt pnp2 ecu.The car is not fully broken in yet so it is only tuned up to 3500 rpm, boost is not yet tuned.Since it is running Megasquirt tunerstudio is used to tune the car in any laptop, you will need to buy a fully licenced copy of tunerstudio to fully tune the car, its cheap under 100 buck, they have a auto tune feature which makes tuning a breeze, basically tune while you driv, the Megasquirt has a Bluetooth connection which makes connection very easy. Other mods include a defi boost gaug, water temp gauge and control modul, has a tanabe air fuel gauge which is linked to the Megasquirt ecu .Has a greedy profec boost controller, greedy turbo timer. Flying miata happy meal clutch kit with 10 lbs aluminum flywhee, Magnaflow exhaus, running a straight pipe in place of catalytic convertor,hard dog roll bar wrapped in foam, wilwood big brake kit, new stock calipers and pads in rear.BC coilovers 32 way adjustable, dropped real low...Wheels are varstoen v2 15x8 0 offset, they have some slight curb rash, tires are toyo proxes 195 45 15 with less than 1000 miles on them.Is equipped with a torsen lsd. Cool vintage mirrors.3000k hid bulbs in projector glass headlights.Has an audiophile grade stereo system, head unit is a pioneer deh 80prs, certain Vega coaxial in doors, polk audio amp 75wx4, audiocontrol eq, and epicenter and a 10 inch bazooka tube for sub, sounds amazing .The whole car was modded with quality components.Known issues, having an aftermarket ecu it needs to have slight gas applied when starting after sitting overnigh, does not start like stock, always starts but needs a bit of pressure on the gas pedal for the first start. It sometimes takes a few turns of the key to get the starter goin, might just be low voltage cause the car sits in my garage most of the time, never bothered m, always starts.There are a couple of leaks, a very slight coolant leak, just a few drops from time to tim, might be the overflow tan, I have not fully investigated, very slight and I have not noticed any coolant loss in the resivour or radiator, also a leak from what looks like the steering rack, the car still has power steerin, I suspect the rack is leakin, still works fine and leaks minimall, have not had to top of the fluids yet.Front brake pads might need to be adjusted, the brakes have 200 miles on them they still need to break in, there is a slight rub on the passenger side pad, I was told the just need to be broken in, but worth noting.Car has a.c. bit is not currently functioning, meant to remove it .Cool Jdm floor mats.I think thats it, car has many mods, trans shifts as it shoul, new hydaulic system for clutch, has been a labor of lov, but I need a bigger car, runs awesom, drives awesom, once fully broken in and tuned will be one sweet ride.The current setup is good for 275 horse,the motor is overbuil, but I wanted the option to add a bigger turbo, such a sweet rid, I am gonna miss it.Has a current inspection.Car is pick up only in Levittown ny, 11756, payment is as follows, 500 dollars non refundable deposit due 12 hours after auction, balance due at pick up, PayPal or cash, car is sold as i, must be picked up within 2 weeks of auction end. Please do your research and know what you are getting int, this vehicle has been extensivly modified, it runs and drives wel, but is a slammed, turboed, miat, and rides as such, I tried my best to keep the feel of the car a close to stock as possible, but it is inches from the ground .
