Up for sale is a 1992 Mazda Miata with only 33k miles. We have owned this car for about 15 years; purchased pre-owned from a Mazda dealer in Buffalo, Y area circa 2000. Car was stored in a dry garage / barn each winter (and at nearly all times in recent years), as never driven in snow / salt, nd only rarely in rain. No significant modifications from stock (has aftermarket front splitter below bumper); original color was 'Classic Red'. Cloth interior, lloy wheels, ower windows, ruise control, ower antenna, -speed manual transmission- an outstanding pure driver's car. Would make a great candidate for a Miata racing series, r to be simply driven and enjoyed- just needs a convertible or hard top (details below) and paint, epending on intended use. Reason for selling is sale of house; would rather keep the vehicle but simply won't have space for it.
Car is currently in grey primer and lacks a functioning / attached convertible top- a partial barn collapse ~5 years ago landed a wooden beam on the convertible top and windshield frame (see photo for detached convertible top with minor damage- it was not a particularly large or heavy wooden beam). Car was promptly removed from barn and windshield and frame were professionally replaced / repaired; we left the top off in the interim, nd coated the car in primer pending future plans for it (original single-stage paint on these cars was not a strong suit). But we didn't make it to future plans given other priorities and now a move- so it's simply been stored in the garage since then, tarted occasionally, iven fuel stabilizer, ires checked, tc. I apologize for the marginal photos, ut the garage / house it's being stored in is being sold, nd I had to quickly take photos before helping to prepare the house for sale.
Please ask any questions before bidding. There is no reserve, nd vehicle is sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied. A$500 nonrefundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end, nd the balance is due via cashier's check / wire transfer within 7 days. Car will require a truck / trailer to be picked up; it is not currently registered and given lack of top is not suitable for commercial open-air transport (enclosed would work, f course). And I reserve the rights to end the auction early and to disqualify bidders for lack of / poor feedback, tc.
Thanks, nd good luck bidding-
