I bought this classic 3 years ago and shipped it directly into storage. At the time this hand made classic started and drove well... why wouldn't it with only 37,988 original miles. It has some surface rust by the door ledges and the top of the rear window. Its clearly dusty and needs some TLC. This Maserati also has the original Pirelli tires on it.
The inspection sticker on the window says New York State ... obviously it must had started life there.I wonder who owned a hand built Italian sport sedan back in 1982???
It has a full leather interior with Briar wood (same wood they use to make smoking pipes, jewellery, fountain pens and knife handles). It is powered by a Maserati 4.9 L aluminum V8 with 4 overhead cams and 4 Weber carburettors. 4 wheel independent suspension with a Maserati/ De Tomaso /Jaguar type rear suspension using inboard disc brakes and quad coil-overs in the rear alone. And of course the true dual exhaust system directly from ANSA.
Now some history this model was built between 1979 and 1990 in those years only 2155 were ever made and that includes the super rare Royale.
For comparison there were only 2049 Lamborghini Countach's made between 1974 and 1990.
These numbers are from wikipedia not from me.
In case your not impressed by the small number consider this :In Japan, Toyota made about 3,720,000 cars in 2014. When this number is divided by the number of production days, it comes to about 13,400 per day. And this is just the average...WOW!
Think of how many have been crashed, stolen or wrecked... how many can there be left ...NOT MANY!

It is being sold as-is and where-is. There is no warranty whatsoever.
