1975 Lincoln Continental Mark IV
All original from bumper to bumper. The body is absolutely straight. Interior is exceptional, and all glass good. This beauty is in very good condition with the exceptions listed below. No cracks or broken glass.
Odometer reads 09376 actual miles (I assume it actually has 109376 miles).
It has electric windows, locks, mirrors, seat, etc. It also has a Velour interior, Cruise control, premium AM/FM/8 track tape player.
This Mark IV has the original 460ci motor that runs great. She has the original automatic transmission that shifts as it should. I have found no noticeable fluid leaks. The car drives very well.
Issue:
Vinyl top should be repaired or replaced (see pics).
Paint needs to be buffed out.
Rear electric windows do not function properly.
It has a rattle in the driver's side door.
Dash has a crack.
Rear deck is sun faded.
Steering wheel should be replaced or covered.
Trunk lock is fidgety (need to wiggle the key around to get it to open).
Very, very slight brake rotor pulse.
Automatic choke sticks on first start of the day, then no issues after that.
This car has been a daily driver for several months now. It starts (with the exception of the choke issue) first time, every time. It runs and drives perfectly, and stops properly. I have no problem trusting it to drive around town. I would not be afraid to take it on a road trip as well.
I am selling my baby because it takes up way too much room in my garage. So it is either sell this classic, or my 1952 MG-TD (and that isn't going to happen. Lol)
This car is for local pick up only, or the buyer must arrange and is responsible for shipping. I will assist with loading the car if I am provided with sufficient prior notice.
And yes, if you fly in to drive the car home (remember, this car will get only between 11 and 15 mpg), I will pick you up at the Boise airport (with flight arrivals between 10:00am & 1100pm).
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me via eBay's ask a question process. Of course the car is being sold as is, where is. With no guarantees stated or implied.
My car is listed with a very reasonable set asking price, or make offer.
Thank you for looking. I think you'll love owning this car. I have.
