1949 Lincoln Cosmopolitan, Ford ,Mercury

Here is a 1949 Lincoln Cosmopolitan up for auction. There isn't many of these left. This is 1 of 19 left when I last checked in 1991. This is the only time you will see it up for sale, If it doesn't sell I am going to keep it. My Dad and I purchased the car back in 1991. When we first got the car it needed an engine rebuild. The car shows 34,000 and change for mileage. It is believed to be original mileage. The car has been repainted once, no idea when way before I bought it. I am the third owner of the vehicle. The car is originally from Western NY where I purchased it. The car is now in Northern Virginia It has the original 336.7 flat head V-8, 3-speed on the column with overdrive. The only thing that doesn't work is the radio and antenna. It has hydraulic power windows and front seat. The interior is all original minus the carpet that has been replaced. The car is in very nice condition. It is isn't a trailer queen but for the age it would be hard to find a nicer one. The car runs and drives fantastic. There is no warranty, and car is sold as is.
