He is the story to the best of my knowledge of the history... Harry Truman used this car in 1947 for his parade car while he was the president of the U.S. So this car has a great history behind it. This makes it very collectable and valuable. After his presidency it sat until it was donated to the confederate Air Force in 1962 and was made into a staff car. Their it was painted lacquer black and the engine was changed. one repaint. It was used as a staff car until 1975. A private Air Force collector bought it and it remained in storage until his death 3 years ago. His estate went up forsale. It was rumored that he owned this car. It was sold to a private person and then sold it to me. The car... very solid body and frame with almost no rust other than on the surface no signs of body filler other than factory led. paint is ultra thin so you know what you are getting. It was for pace car yellow like in the first picture as you can see it bleeding threw. what you is what you get. Parts are missing and engine is gone. I was going to buy a another car and use it for parts. Authentication the car... everything I checked out brought me back to this is the real deal. The door writing is still visible on both doors. The correct color combo. Red front lights only for the presidential cars that you can see in the old picture. Both flag holders are still their and are well fabricated to the car. Everything matches the time era. No other cars have made this claim. When the engine was changed a brace was welded in the frame it still remains you can see on the underhood picture. The presidential records show that this car was maintained for the presidential cars. Their was only one yellow Lincoln the remainers were black. The former owners rumor of ownership. The car will be sold as is with bill of sale. It is easy to get a title I can help you with that. My feelings... This car needs to go to a person or museum that will love the history and restore it correctly. The value is unknown their is only one. So it can not be judged by a former sale. Cars with history brings insane money at auctions. My opinion in which I have correct on many times this will bring a ton of money to the right collector.
