Car description |
---|
This is my 1992 SC300, i have had it for a long time but i recently got my first brand new car and dont have time to work on projects anymore. I have owned the car since 2010 and i had the engine swap done professionally in 2012. It was shipped to south carolina and the swap was done by Tweak'd Performance (now named Phoenix Tuning), and it was their prototype car for their first 100% new wiring harness for a 5 speed SC300 with 2JZGTE. So the harness is 100% brand new OEM plugs and new wires and is a very clean install that looks totally factory. The build pics are still on their facebook and can be seen here https://www.facebook.com/pg/tweakdperformance/photos/?tab=album&album_id=172090732839757 but i have changed some things around (different intercooler and intake pipe setup and new clutch and some other stff). Everything works just like it is supposed to. Over the years i have done a lot of upgrades. But the last two years i have been busy with work anf family so i haven't really driven it much. Rather than let it keep sitting i think its time to sell it so it can be driven and enjoyed.
It has AEM Tru Boost Boost Controller and is currently set at 18psi, it should be around 420 WHP based in what i have seen from cars with similar mods. The turbos are currently running in a true twin configuration (TTC mod) so they both spool at the same time and hit hard, it can be easily switched back to sequential if you want to.
A year ago i had a new clutch put in and its a 550 HP 6 puck SPEC kit that is still very streetable, at the same time i had the rear differential swapped for a 3.26 ratio from a SC430 so the gears are very long now, closer to the supra 6 speed.
One reason i dont drive it much is that the AC is not working, has never worked since i got the car. I have been told it needs new lines by 2 shops (lexus dealer and independent AC shop) I have a full AC setup from another car that i was told works when i got it and it will go with the car.
Here is a quick list of mods and i'm sure i am forgetting some things.
Lowered on Tanabe NF210 springs
18" rims with a fat tire setup (rubs a bit in dips when turning, used to have supra 6 speed rims)
2JZGTE Swap, running TTC mod @18psi
AEM tru boost boost controller
AEM wideband O2 sensor
turbo timer (hooked up and works great)
Shift light controller (was going to mount stealth shift light but havent got to it yet)
Full turbo back 3" dual exhaust
Comes with bolt in cat to pass emissions and a straight pipe to take it out (installed now)
SPEC 550 HP clutch kit
Large front mount intercooler
custom TIG welded and powder coated intake pipes and intercooler pipes to minimize connections
TRD strut tower bar
3.26 ratio rear differential with Poly Urethane bushings from SC430
97+ SC OEM Clear tail lights
HKS blow off valve
I have some spare parts for this car and parts i havent installed yet that i would like to send with it. I have the side skirts and rear bumper from a 97+ SC and just needs the front bumper and it will have a full 97+ OEM body kit.
The car has 175K miles and was swapped at 155K miles
Please let me know if you have any questions.
