Engine Swap
The original 2.5 diesel engine was replaced with a 300Tdi in 2017. You’ll see 22 MPGs and the extended range tanks will give you a range of 600+ miles. I have a binder with all vehicles documents and records dating back 36 years. The engine has logged only 38,000 miles since the swap and features a new Allisport intercooler, radiator and expansion tank. All new hoses and belts were added. Underneath, new heavy-duty springs, new Bilstein shocks and shock towers, and new heavy duty radius arms were added. Front and rear brakes were upgraded and rear brakes were converted to disc brakes. Plenty of spare parts are included in the sale of this one-of-a-kind 110.
Exterior
Everything has been revitalized since it was imported into the U.S. A custom fabricated lockable and removable aluminum, water-tight storage box features a Goal Zero Boulder 100 solar panel that links to a new portable Goal Zero Yeti 400 Portable Generator Power Station for power anywhere you go. The front of the 110 features a Series-Defender Outfitters 3/16” CNC milled aluminum grille, a new Asfir front bumper and steering guard and an integrated A-Bar with Ridgid light bar. The A-Bar also houses a mount for a 4-foot Hi-lift Jack and shovel. A new TS 9500 Superwinch is mounted up front which replaced the original capstan winch. Truck-lite LED headlamps plus all marker lights, turn signals and brake lights were converted to LEDs. Brand new BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM3 tires are featured on the vehicle and two spare tires. All are mounted on new steelie wheels that were powder coated to match the limestone paint color.
A brand new rear door was added and custom painted to match the rest of the vehicle. The canvas top has been patched and is water tight. A Brownchurch Roof Rack features custom mounts for MaxTrax recovery boards. A new heavy-duty spare tire mount was added in the rear and a Ridgid worklight was installed to illuminate the rear area of the vehicle. A trailer harness was added by the previous owner. Diamond plating was added to the wings and bonnet to allow access to the storage box.
Interior
Inside, German-engineered custom maple wood cabinetry was added with plenty of storage for clothing, kitchen items, tools and recovery gear. A secret compart is also built-into the vehicle to stow those valuable items out of the way. The 110 includes a Kissmann refrigerator which also converts into a freezer…or adjusted for both features. A new demo Wallas diesel stove and heater with separate 2.6 gallon diesel fuel tank was recently installed but has not been used. A stainless steel sink with pullout Grohe faucet doubles as an outdoor shower and features a separate 7-gallon water tank and new fresh water pump. Two-stage LED lighting is featured throughout the interior as well as multiple USB adaptors to recharge phones and accessories.
The Dormobile top can be easily deployed in seconds and has over 9-foot of standing room. The sleeping area features incredibly comfortable twin cots that easily fold outindependentlyand store in seconds. A cot can easily accommodate someone who is 6’ 4” and 250 lbs. When both bunks are deployed a center aisle allows an individual freedom to move around the cabin without disturbing the other. Windows have curtains made from custom Pierre Frey “Globes of the World” fabric each backed with blackout material and the ability for 360º coverage so no one outside can see in and light does not enter the vehicle. A couch, covered in faux reptile waterproof fabric can seat two. An aluminum-milled dining table/work table can be accessed as well as a drop down shelf for adding a grill accessed when the rear door is open.
A new Land Rover aftermarket air conditioning system from Rovers North was added. A Momo steering wheel was installed and the dash features new lighted VDO gauges. Luxurious Scheel-mann Sportsline LRdriver and passengerseats were installed. Each is covered with custom Knightsbridge Overland,Seat Covers for protection. Each SeatCover hasMOLLEwebbingto hold storage pouches (included) for first aid kits and tools. A new Tuffy lockable storage box iwas added and houses a Blue Sea 3-way battery cut off switch for added security. Underneath the driver’s seat box is a dual battery set-up with new batteries including a new Odyssey heavy-duty cranking battery that powers all ancillary accessories. The front footwells and seat boxes are covered with Exmoor Trim floor matting. A Yaesu Ham Radio and power antenna are installed in the vehicle.

History
The vehicle was originally spec’d by a gentleman in France. It was a 5 door County Station Wagon in Roan Brown and came with the adventure package which included a hood mounted tire, capstan winch and covered light guards. I have all original correspondence between the original owner and Land Rover. In early 2000, the vehicle was sold to a couple in Germany who restored the vehicle to prepare for an overlanding adventure in Northern Europe. They added the custom interior and sent it to England for the Dormobile conversion. Following an extensive overlanding adventure through Europe and driving the vehicle in their native Germany, the couple stored the vehicle for 10 years when it was purchased by a small dealer in the US who sold it to me.

Apologies
The truck is rust free but has a few rust bubbles that are starting to form on the rare Series 3 front door bottoms and 3 rust holes on the leading edge of driver's side bulkhead. There are also two small areas were oxidation is starting to show on the left outrigger and around the Land Rover badge in the rear of the vehicle. Minor dents and dings are apparent only the doors and hood of the vehicle.
