Car description

Possible one of a kind collector purchase. Yes there are other rovers out there in the world to buy. Do they have the original window sticker? Do they have the original receipt of sale? Do they have the original Department of licensing receipt? Do they have all the original factory manuals still intact with the tear off warranty and service papers? Do they have full documentation of the vehicles life since new? I am technically the third care taker of this fine Landy which is such a pleasure to drive. Yes, it starts, drives, and stops all lights and gauges work as new. Yes, it leaks a little oil as seen on floor under photos. The old Rover moto is "if its not leaking its out of oil". Sold new in 1967 in Las Cruces, NM. Second owner was just a pass through owner which only purchased the Rover because of all the documentation that was present at the time (not a rover guy). He was in the right place at the right time so to speak. He was buying a 1976 Dodge Ram SWB with 67k original miles from the widowed spouse who also had the Land Rover. It did run and drive at the time but it had bad wheel cylinders so it did not stop. He did not turn a wrench or even wash the Rover. He just resold the rover a couple months later to me back on August 10, 2017. I still have photos of his listing. Only a little surface rust on bulkhead. Frame is as solid as it was when new. Rubber seals on top windows are 53 years old and are cracked and very dry. Seal between body and top is no longer present. Windshield wiper motors have been rebuilt to factory spec. I am the first person to remove the hard top. Original paint, All numbers matching. Original engine and gear box (not rebuilt no smoke) 99 percent of parts replaced are NOS OEM. I found original NOS date stamped tail light lenses which have different date stamps for top and bottom lenses(didn't need replacing just a little faded). NOS wheel cylinders, NOS brake drums and shoes, NOS turn signal unit, NOS Solex carb (original will be included), NOS gas filler tube, NOS fuel pump, NOS fuel lines, NOS oil pressure line, NOS front drive line, NOS muffler and tail pipe (original will be included), NOS Genuine land rover floor mats. NOS land rover mud flaps. NOS shocks (originals will included) One Original Lucus used headlight with matching numbers. NOS wipers and wiper arms. Original screw jack, Original hand tire pump. Not Original to the Rover is the addition of Land Rover 16" steel wheels painted in Limestone. This Rover came stock with 15" wheels. Brand new set of Michelin 7.50 x 16 XZL tires. Interstate battery, new custom battery cables. Lastly is the exact reproduction elephant hide vinyl seat covers which were placed on the factory metal seat backs which still wear the factory yellow chalk marks from the assemble line. Original owner kept extremely well documented notes since new. Which includes mileage, gas used, parts replaced or cleaned. All with a cost at the time. All receipts for parts, etc.. The list goes on and on. Even correspondence to Land Rover directly in England with questions he had regarding his rover.I have a NOS (soft top) hoop and stick set in the original snow flake galvanizing with dark green canvas with all brass fittings available for extra consideration as well. Clear title in hand. Would possibly trade for a 1997 NAS Defender 90 in red or black only. Would have to be original paint and soft top (Badger top ok no rovers north top) I would personally deliver and pick up on a trade.
