.So I found this old girl abandoned, outside, and alone. Found the owner and he said she'd been sitting for 20 years because the slave cylinder went bad and he could not get it working. Neighbor also said it had been back there for decades. It is complete and doesn't have a single dent or ding anywhere so I bought it on the spot. Back at home found he couldn't fix it because it was the master that was bad, not the slave. Replaced the master. Put on new tires, changed the fluids, did plugs/points/condenser, cleaned fuel tank...she fired right up and has been dead reliable ever since. Starts at the first touch of the key no matter how cold it is. One very small rust spot (pictured.) I love driving it in full patina but she'd be an easy restoration project. Every light and badge is there.
I made a video of her starting via hand crank and running and revving so you can see how amazing she starts cold and runs perfect without a hint of miss, stumble or smoke. Ebay has changed what videos are allowed so you'll have to go to You Tube to see it. Just search: "1967 Land Rover Series 2a hand crank."
