This is the Aegean Blue with Winchester Grey North American late season SWB release. Original paint, leather, and engine.
When I got it, it would turn over after beating on the starter and drive a few feet then dump out, no brakes, doors would not shut and if they did you had to take the entire door apart to get it to unlock, she was neglected but awkwardly beautiful, if you like the LR boxes. I got her running well enough to make it up and down the interstate in Hampton Roads VA during the rush hour with minimal "your number 1" hails and safe enough that I allowed my daughter to drive for over a year to college and around town.
Its ugly, but we where constantly being stopped and asked about her. An uglyness usually only a LR enthusiasts can appreciate and love.
The good: Original radio (I do not have the code to unlock it but can be recovered from LR), Leather is in good shape, headliner is in excellent shape, sunroof functions w/out leaks, carpets are in good shape, IT RUNS AND DRIVES, new tires, brakes, starter, alternator, door latches (you will need to have a locksmith create a key for the doors, I could not find door latches with a matching key), window electronics good, seat electronics good, most electronics are fully functioning (not all), new exhaust, new throttle position sensor, extra heater core and a few other parts in the garage.
The bad: Air suspension was replaced with conventional (not bad if you ask me but some would desire that headache), leaks down, which if your familiar with with LR a down leak is normal, vertical spray is fatal, heat and air don't work, had it checked out but not sure what the fix is, heated seats don't work, some of the wood trim has fallen off and needs replaced, they sell oem trim kits for this, speakers were dry rotted and removed, amp & CD changer was removed, not sure of everything that came on it originally that are not there but for the most part there is a lot to work with.
For anyone in the military or vet's, its got the old deuce and a half or military grade hummer feel, big slow sure footed beast.
