Car description |

This is Alfred, a 1971 Series 2A 109 Station Wagon. He took my family and I on a wonderful trip through Europe a few years ago and a few nice adventures here in California as well. Loaded with extras such as the full length roof rack with ladder, roof top tent, head and taillight cages, military spec bumper overriders, cool badge bar across the front, plenty of travel stickers and a lovely patina. The engine is the stock original gas motor, we added an overdrive to keep up in traffic and 12v ports for phone charging, etc. Alfred will seat 10 if you are all super friendly, but was perfect for our family of 5.
He has lead a good life, I have his history in the UK that will go with, and he has a clean California title with current tags.
Used, but never abused, shows some sun fade and scratches and a bit of character as a proper old Land Rover should. He is old and slow, loud and crude, and we love him very much. He hasn't been getting used in the past year and while I love to look at him, I think he would enjoy being on the road more than sitting in our driveway.
Please ask all questions before you bid, personal inspection is encouraged if possible.
