Original chassis stripped, sandblasted and galvanized. Added power steering and front disc brakes from later model Santana. Added fully-synchronized rebuilt Series III 4-speed gearbox and Toro overdrive. Rebuilt 2.25 liter gasoline engine prepared for unleaded fuel. New high-torque starter. New wiring harness, new Wipac lights, Warn locking front hubs, new stainless steel exhaust, new shocks and parabolic springs, new BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires. Converted rear door to swing out with folding rear step for easy entry. Backdated banjo steering wheel. New glass and rubber. New Exmoor Trim seats, rubber floor mats and soft-top.
