The Defender is only going to increase in value. Since the Series vehicles have been produced after WWII, nearly two-thirds of all Land Rover Series/Defenders are still on the road; A testament to their design and durability and the love of their owners to keep them going. The frame and bulkhead are steel, but the body is aluminum, which contributes to its longevity due to its inherent defense against corrosion.

Engine & Transmission
This defender has the fantastic 200TDI 2.5 Turbo Diesel engine. It starts first turn of the key every time. It has great compression on all 4 cylinders. We thoroughly inspected and serviced the motor. The engine has plenty of power and will happily sit at 70mph without any problems. The transmission shifts as it should and 4high and 4low work perfectly. The clutch is smooth without any judder or slip.


Body
The bodywork is in good shape (see photos), the rear cross member has been replaced and has been under coated - the rest of the under carriage is in very good condition and has been left untouched so that its new owner can inspect. It also has a snorkel and also front spotlights and rear LED brake lights. It has been painted white by its previous owner - it also has a winch.

Interior
The Interior is in good condition, the 2nd row seats have been replaced with i believe Renault seats which tilt and slide. The shifter and transmission nobs are aluminum. The center console has been updated, and has a cd player. It has gray carpet throughout, and a sports steering wheel. It has a center console fitted between the passenger and drivers head. It does NOT have a headliner installed but does have sound proofing panels.

The vehicle is in Sarasota Florida, it has passed all DOT EPA DMV tests and inspections and is 100% legally here in the USA. All necessary paperwork will be given to buyer. It currently has a clean FLORIDA TITLE WITH NO LIEN HOLDERS and is ready to transfer to the new owner. We are happy to take more photos/videos/facetime with any serious buyers. This vehicle has been in daily use, it is in good solid condition with some signs of wear and use, It has some paint blistering, but is structurally very sound.

It can be used and enjoyed as a daily driver, it needs its new owner to give some it some TLC.
