Car description |
---|
I have owned this Land Rover (LHD) for a couple of years. I legally imported it from the UK and have title in hand, Oklahoma tag. It was purchased from the British Army where it was meticulously maintained and was only recently decommissioned. We were told that it saw active duty although the Army were not allowed to say where. Recent work included brake, suspension, plugs and distributor. Please note that it is 24v.Some of the photos do not show the spare tire but it is present and correct!
You cannot fill up with gas without getting questions, envy and admiration.
Due to personal circumstances i put it in covered storage about a year ago and reluctantly must now sell. This was purchased to keep.
Since it is imported it does not have a vin number so i have included documents from the Ministry of Defence stating its chassis number.
This truck is a monster and will go anywhere. In the 90's it was reported that 70% of all land rovers produced were still in use.
Please note this does not have a VIN # as it imported but it is verifiable plated with all the UK equivalent.
Anyone who knows about these vehicles know how rare these are will know that there value is increasing rapidly and will continue. Being a LHD it is very rare and highly sought after.Mechanic in last month put a new exhaust on and rebuilt the carburetor.
Drives great and is very solid.
It is being sold as is and where is.
Please contact me with any questions. Please note this a Series 3 not a Defender
