What you see here is a 1982 Land Rover Series III 109 Pick-up with the factory original 2.25 L diesel and 4 speed manual transmission with high and low range Left Hand Drive. Zero Rust present on this vehicle and the 2.25 L diesel is stronger than most series III. Also includes power brakes!
Overall this truck is in impeccable shape and needs nothing. Unlike most land rovers, this one does not leak oil and smoke is minimal. Driving this truck is a true pleasure and it goes very fast for a series Land Rover. This truck starts and stops with ease and shifting is tight and how it should be right off the assembly line.
Everything on this vehicle is operational and would make a great daily driver for someone. The top and windows can be removed for a convertible/cooler look and feel. Diesel consumption is very impressive and will surprise anyone who fills it up.
The load capacity of the bed is much higher than modern-day pickups. A bed full of firewood would not phase the performance of this truck. A vintage motorcycle or surfboard belongs in the back of this pickup and would make this truck look perfect.
