Car description |
---|
Clean California rust-free 995 LandRover Range Rover Classic, an all-original County Edition. One of the cleanest, original D1s on the market. This Rover Classic is the last and the most sought-after year model of the Range Rover, with the revised interior, the very desirable Central Differential Lock ( CDL) system and one-year-only Dual Airbags, soft dash and chrome bumpers, features only available on 1995 Models. Solid TWO-OWNER California Land Rover, residing here all of itslife since being purchased new. Try to find that in an East-coast car, where the whole underside is likely corroded away and impossible to repair ! This Classic LWB iscompletelyoriginal, exactly as it was originally built, except for the addition of a mild 2" lift, heavy-duty springs along with BILSTEIN struts. Approximately 124K original miles. EXTREMELY LOW for any Land Rover. Stock 4.2L engine runs very well. It starts immediately, idles and drives well. There is no rust nor corrosion on this vehicle as it would be expected from any California-lived Land Rover ( hard-pressed condition to find in any beyond the Sierra mountains). BEWARE OF RUST BUCKETS COMING FROM THE EAST COAST~! ( it's beyond me why anyone would want to buy an East coast car with potential hidden rust, which is unrepairable ). This Classic LWB comes fully equipped with most standard features available at the time of production such as: * Moonroof* Central Differential Lock* Revised interior* NICE CYCLONE alloys ( same as on the Defender)* Factory Towing package* Level II Safari Pack: Side steps, headlamp guards, taillight guards, HELLA Comet driving lights and HELLA 500 auxiliary lights Nice factory 16" CYCLONE alloy wheels, along with radial tires mounted on them ( with approximately 70% tread remaining). Stock 4.2L engine runs very well. As it is well documented in all Land rover circles, the 4.2 motor was an improvement over the earlier 3.9 engines as it was more robust and had more torque as a result of engine redesigning to increase displacement to a more efficient, reliable motor. NO overheating issues to contend with. NONE. Automatic transmission shifts well into all gears. Four-wheel Power disc brakes brake smoothly without pulsation.Power steering,Power windows ( all four work), Power mirrors,Power HEATED seats ( both work), cruise control, factory stereo andcold A/C. Finish is in Beluga-Black factory color, with NO oxidation present on the roof or hood clearcoat ( common ailment in all Land Rovers). Still shines quite nicely. The body, chassis, floorboards, door sills, doors and undercarriage are super solid and completely RUST-FREE, amazing considering this Classic is twenty three years young ! Its Connolly tan leather upholstery is in remarkable condition and has held up well. There are no cracks or tears on any of the leather bolsters in the seats. No rips, tears or seam splits. Recent complete headliner. Overall, avery clean originalinterior, door panels, perfect dash and factory original carpeting. The photos show this LWB accurately. NON SMOKER vehicle, ever. A very solid, rust-free unrestored classic, with better-than-average miles and an excellent 4.2L engine. It runs well with a strong, solid powertrain. It will make an excellent base for a concours restoration, traveler or overlander, camping vehicle or just a fun Land Rover to drive aroundas it is. * My nearly 1300+ all-positive feedback and the vehicle's condition and photographs speak for themselves. I am a Land Rover enthusiast for sure. I've been around Land Rovers for over 30 years, and have owned various models and vintages.Unlike the vast majority of sellers who simply sell what they do not know ( let alone car dealers!), I proudly own a Land Rover ( actually, I still own three: a 2010 Sport, a 2004 HSEand a Discovery II) and I am fairly familiar with all their quirks. Feel free to call me with serious, pertinent questions at (650) 430-4660 PST. I have priced this Classic at fair-market to sell. This is a last-year of the Range Rover, before it stopped being manufactured and the Classics became part of automotive history. You simply cannot find these 95' LWBs anywhere for this price, without being totally rotted out. Plus, it's always better to restore as you go ( to your taste, not someone else's, and their usual $30K+ price tag) Land Rovers are the best investment for the money. I am also advertising this vehicle in several other venues, and as such, I reserve the right to end this listing at any time should a serious BUY-IT-NOW offer present itself. Please ensure that your funding sources are in place prior to placing a bid or an offer. Payment to be received within THREE business days. It can be made via Cashier's check or money order(s). Business, Personal or Annuity checks may also be utilized but mustclear first prior to any transportation arrangements being made. An alternate way is bank wire transfer to our local CHASE Bank branch here in town. It expedites the process considerably and allows for faster shipping arrangements. Finally, a ZELLE payment is also accepted. Upon receipt of payment, I will mail the clear California title and bill of sale via USPS Priority mail with tracking information. I will be glad to assist coordination transportation/ delivery of the Range Rover Classic anywhere nationwide or overseas at the most reasonable rate available. NOTE: Do not go by the Ebay calculator. It can ship for under $1000 anywhere to the East coast. Closer less of course.Feel free to EM withinquiries. Thank you for your interest ~! |
