Car description |

This is a very tidy, solid and original 1983 Land Rover 110 V8 and would make an ideal vehicle to export to the USA. It has undertaken a slight restoration; mainly welding to the chassis. It has had both new bulkhead outriggers fitted and also a new rear crossmember fitted. Once the chassis was completely solid it was painted black and then wax oiled inside and out, this will prevent it from rusting for a very long time! All the following new items have been fitted:* Rear sliding window channel* All new fan belts* Spark plugs* Bulkhead outriggers* Rear crossmember* Fuse box* Rear chassis spring supports* Bump stops* Fuel tank and sender unit* Battery* Genuine rear mud flaps
The paintwork is slightly faded in some places but we decided not to respray the vehicle as it adds to the originality. The bottoms of the doors are corroded. (Worst affected shown in photo.) In fact these doors are original and quite rare now, with the sliding windows and lift up door handles. There is a worn bearing in the gearbox, this makes a VERY loud noise in 1st, 2nd and 3rd, its fine in 4th so I guess it's the layshaft bearing. This gearbox (the LT85) is quite an 'agricultural' gearbox and VERY strong. The noise is quite loud, but I'm quite confident it'll be fine like this for years! Overall this is a very original 110 and will only go up in value as they no longer make this shape Land Rover, it'll be an ideal investment. It is also all ready to be shipped and sold to the USA as it is more than 25 years old. Also this Land Rover has done 200 miles in the last 10 years! We've been driving this for the past few months and it all works as it should. At the moment it is taxed, MOTd and insured. This is a right hand drive vehicle.Oh, it is also fitted with an LPG kit. We could remove this if need be.
Any questions please call Matt on 07811119929 (+447811119929) or send a message through eBay.
If you are in America and you're interested in this please contact me and we'll discuss the shipping etc. I can also send you more pictures or videos if you need them.
