Land Rover 90 County station wagon - AKA The Defender

Vehicle is a 1988- listed as 1980 due to foreign VIN number. Very clean white LR90. 5 speed LT77 transmission. mated to 2. 5 turbo diesel motor with uprated Allsport intercooler. a positive rocket ship compared to the 2. 5N/A diesel. Body work is in excellent condition. there are some area's of pain that are flaking and some of the usual aluminum bubbling. but the majority of the paint is original. so all in all really. really good condition. There is only one area of rust behind the passenger side bulkhead that could have a repair panel welded in. and the usual door bottom frames do need to be replaced. which is fairly simply apart from that. the chassis and panels are all really solid. The motor runs excellent. smokes at start up as these do. settles down well after warming up. truck is a true county station wagon. so has the rear 4 fold up seats and seat belts. sunroof. rear washer softer springs for a smoother ride (by land rover standards). Has 4 newer steel rims and almost new roadway tires. probably only have 2K miles on them if that. Smaller steering wheel to make the turn radius feel more manageable that is the case with the usual LR large format wheel. as far as I know everything works. radio included. Spare wheel is an older type so not the same as the 4 road wheels fitted. but this could be matched up. There are no insulation or rubber matting installed. so the pant that can be seen on the floors and transmission tunnel is the original. The images do not lie. the floor and panel work inside are like new. This truck is a right hand drive. as all LR's should be. NYS title clear and in hand.
