Selling my 1970 Kaiser/Jeep Deuce and 1/2. This is a classic military issue truck with 38k miles perfect oil pressure and runs cool on 100degree day. It was restored a couple years ago and PPG paint was used. It has a whites (whistler) turbo diesel original to the truck. It has 53" tires and the truck is not lifted, what you see is all factory. Whats added: new windshields and frames (these are usually rotted out), semi sized air horn, 2 piece rims w/ run flats (a lot safer then original rims), Brake proportioning valve w/ remote reservoir, batteries relocated in the cab, Key ignition & doors, truck mirrors & stained black bed sides with stainless hardware all over truck to avoid the rusting bolts originally used. Truck has heat and hitch w/ ball & pindle. Oil recently changed so nothing to do. Despite being a rare truck to see it is also the nicest one ive seen in person and very proud of it. Starts every time with no hesitation, I burn diesel in it but engine is a military multi-fuel engine meaning it will burn anything from gasoline to cooking oil. Truck is also a convertible top and windshield does fold down on hood. Stars on door are vynl so the are removable if you don't like that look. Its a 5spd stick. Interior is original and in nice shape. Tires are not dry rotted and no major leaks. I do have pics of resto as the bed was replaces (with a military issue bed from PA base) and frame was sanded and painted so bed an cab were painted while off so front of bed and back of cab were painted properly. Top is in great shape no leaks and all convertible top frames an bows were sanded and painted so they are not rusty. This is a truck Im sure I will regret selling as it will be near impossible to find another one especially on the east coast. also this truck does not require a CDL and is insured as a classic or regular road vehicle. Basically you will be getting people taking photos and thumbs up everywhere and it just look bad ass. Also, with these tires truck will do 65mph. Also these trucks have a 2 speed transfer case that is air controlled meaning you don't have to get out of the truck for 4 wheel drive just flip a switch & it has an air horn out of a semi truck and has a air feed so you could run air tools rite off the side of the truck and its a 9' bed in great condition and you could pull up next to any truck and you will be higher and make there tires look tiny and its almost 50yrs old Great for parades or car shows too. Ive been around military trucks for a long time so feel free to ask any questions these trucks are easy to work on as they were designed to be serviced in the field so engines have no electronics which is why you could run this truck in the water up to the air filter. Some of these are being used as disaster rescue vehicles as they can go true any flood and climb anything you put in front of it and has amazing ground clearance with military issue Rockford rears. . text any questions --201--779--2171
