I have owned this awesome CJ for 8 years. I bought it from a builder/restorer in Georgia who did a complete frame off restoration including engine rebuild. It looked new when I got it. Since then, it has ALWAYS been stored in a temp controlled building, serviced religiously, and only driven on nice days for very short trips. I put less than 500 miles on her a year. She came with a white soft top and soft doors. I removed them as soon as I took delivery, opting for using it with just a bikini top (tan). I stored the top and doors and they have sat collecting dust every since. While I suppose they could be cleaned and used, I would recommend a new Bestop tan top to finish off the look if desired. 3" lift with BF Goodrich rubber. The interior is in great shape and original including the rare shorty front seats. The fabric has no tears etc., but it is old so somewhat faded. Mechanically, the jeep just had a complete go over from my mechanic, and runs/starts like a top. The only mechanical issue is that that the speedo has a mind of its own. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes it reads way off. I replaced the cable a year ago, but the issue remains and I didn't care enough to pursue it further. This is a trouble-free spectacular jeep that will provide years of pleasure. I encourage inspections! Automobile ranked the CJ7 as one of the top ten appreciating vehicles to Owen. They continue to rise year after year. People compliment the jeep every time I go somewhere.
