Car description

Grand Wagoneer by Classic Gentleman has the largest selection of 1991 Final Edition Grand Wagoneers for sale in America!

Internationally recognized as a leading buyer, restorer and seller of low mile, excellent condition Grand Wagoneers, we present this rare, Final Editon Hunter Green masterpiece.

The Grand Wagoneer enthusiast will recognize this rare find immediately. If you're not in that category, let me explain why this particular year and color is so desirable. The production of Grand Wagoneers came to a sad close in 1991. The production run was very small, only 1560 rolled out of the factory that year, down from a high of 28,871 in 1978. That alone made the 1991 models highly desirable. Now we add another element to the story - only 150 were produced in Hunter Green - creating a rare, highly sought after collectible. We can only guess how many have survived and when you find an original documented example with less than 100K miles, (This one has only 92,755 original miles) you are looking at a Jeep that may number in the teens. Grand Wagoneers are predicted to enjoy steady price appreciation over the next decade and the rare '91 Hunter Green will be one of the most sought after. If you're looking to own a true piece of Grand Wagoneer history, this is it.

That Hunter Green paint has just been applied and is beautiful. The rich appearing wood grain siding and trim are both new, sourced from Team Grand Wagoneer. The front grill is likewise new and the wheels were professionally refinished and are wrapped with new all season white wall tires. We also installed new window wipes along with replacing the rubber gaskets associated with the side mirrors, door handles and luggage rack. The balance of the exterior chrome, wheel center caps and trim are showing just the lightest of wear/aging and still present beautifully and suit the Grand well.

The sand interior is excellent, as you can see. All the floor carpeting has just been installed, including the cabin space and the cargo area. Custom Grand Wagoneer floor mats are included to protect your new carpeting. The leather portion of the seats have been freshly re-dyed and the headliner has also just been fitted. The cabin is loaded with options and they include, power seats, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, the all important air conditioning, right down to the original AM/FM/Cassette stereo. (In all honesty, Jeep's stereos from this era are nothing to sing about but preferring to keep the stock original appearance, most buyers wish to keep them, static and all). A curious artifact of the Chrysler purchase of Jeep in the later 80's is the overhead console that Chrysler lifted out of their minivans. They look great, the overhead dome lights inside them operate just fine but the digital readout for exterior temperature and compass have both gone into full eclipse. Other than that, and the cruise control which was poorly designed by some Muppet 30 years ago, all the options and features are working as they should.

The engine/transmission/electricals have all been inspected and works sorted, where deemed needed. Yes, our sales are all as is but we have nearly $13,000.00 in just completed service invoices for this '91. That doesn't include extensive cosmetic works we performed, it is all for maintenance servicing on items you can't see. We are happy to supply copies of those service invoices to buying prospects. The 4 wheel High and Low setting is performing correctly, along with the engine, transmission and electrical bits.

Recently installed and upgraded suspension parts and braking features include fresh leaf springs, updated coil springs over shocks in rear, rear disc brake conversion kit, stainless steel brake lines, front steering stabilizer shock and new rear differential cover. The undercarriage is in beautiful condition, thanks to the mild climates this Grand has enjoyed. Just a brief stint when new along the Delaware shore and all the remaining years were below the Mason Dixon Line and ending up in California, before our acquisition.Carfax & Autocheck both show this Grand has been registered in the gentler areas listed above, the low miles ticking up gradually over time and no accidents every reported.

Concluding our report on this 1991 Final Edition Hunter Green Grand Wagoneer, yes she is gorgeous, yes she is very rare, yes she is in excellent overall condition and finally yes, she is $57,900.00. An enjoyable investment for someone and if they are like every single other Hunter Green '91 owner we have sold to in the past, they are getting the pride of possession, driving them regularly, and have been doing it all for next to free thanks to the market appreciation of these rare pieces. When is the at time you were able to buy a car and say that?

Why buy from a Grand Wagoneer specialist? For us the answer is simple- our entire focus is on Grand Wagoneers and we know these unique vehicles inside and out. When you purchase a Classic Gentleman Wagoneer it has been thoroughly inspected and all necessary work completed by professional mechanics, some with over forty years of Wagaoneer experience. We purchase fine example Jeeps from a variety of sources including other dealers and private parties. We are often told by the seller, "My Jeep is excellent and needs nothing" however, being in this profession, we know to expect and plan for a great deal of sorting. Our average service bills per unit range from $4000 to $13,000 and these costs do not include cosmetic restoration to the exterior/interior. A far reach from needing nothing.

Remember the average age of these vehicles is thirty years more or less, and even with loving care many mechanical parts have aged and worn accordingly. Purchase a Wagoneer from a source other than a specialist and odds are that you may experience servicing and repair costs that may dampen your joy and enthusiasm for that Wagoneer that you always wanted. You may only own one of these in your lifetime, while we buy, fully sort and sell dozens and dozens per year. That is a lot of practice and when a Classic Gentleman Grand Wagoneer arrives at your home, it is a special occasion. It will be in beautiful condition and ready to drive and enjoy. Yes, our sales are as-is, but as you will see from our detailed service invoices, she has been looked after from nose to tail. Our goal is to see that the joy and enthusiasm of Grand Wagoneer ownership begins immediately with your purchase and that it will be there for years to come.

Be sure to have a look at our website's recommendation page where you can see first hand the positive experiences of a worldwide assortment of named buyers. We deal honestly and work hard to insure a happy buyer. You will never be pressured or chased for a sale but given all the time needed to insure if a purchase is right for you. Guided by these principals, our modestly sized niche dealership has built a loyal and devoted customer base spanning 5 continents.

If you wish to organize an inspection before purchase, please do so before placing an offer. This Grand will enthusiastically be made available. You are welcome to ring 724-996-1288 for a cordial discussion regarding this example or any other in our current or soon to be on offer extensive inventory.
