Car description

1983 Triple Black CJ7 Laredo! Ebay would not accept my VIN number for whatever reason, so here it is - 1JCNN87E0DT076447
Immaculate original paint time capsule. 1 owner vehicle before it came in possession of 2 dealers (then I got it)
What can I say about this Jeep that the photos don't tell you? This is an all-original 1983 CJ7 Laredo. The triple black (black exterior, black hard top, black interior) Laredo with the 1983/1984 stripe package is one of the most highly sought after CJs of all time.
This Jeep has never been in any accidents and is unbelievably clean inside and out, and I strongly believe this Jeep never even saw a dirt road it's whole life. Born and raised in Texas by the female original owner, this Jeep was last sold in 2011 by Collins Brothers Jeeps in Wylie, Texas on a dealer reassignment. Collins Brothers is one of the most notable Jeep CJ dealerships in the world, known for premium CJ era Jeeps. Since being sold by Collins Brothers Jeep (no title transfer, just another vehicle reassignment), this vehicle sat in the climate controlled warehouse of another collector/car dealer until I purchased it; never really driven at all. 6 miles were clocked between the time Collins Brothers purchased it in 2011 to the time I purchased and titled it.
The original paint on this vehicle is an easy 9.5/10, and I'm very picky. Stripes are all original too! All of the factory spot welds are clearly visible, which is how it should be! The interior is phenomenal, to say the least. Outstanding condition original carpet, original working gauges, original everything. Check out the photos and let them speak for themselves. No tears or anything in the black Laredo seats. Even the sun-visors are phenomenal. Floor pans are near perfect with absolutely zero rust. The hard top is the only thing to ever get painted, and it was painted professionally by Collins Brothers Jeeps. It is in immaculate condition and looks beautiful. The white spots you see on the paint under the carpet is literally just carpet dust and blows right off.
Engine runs perfectly, and transmission shifts without any hesitation. 4WD engages and works as it should. Look at the engine photos...absolutely gorgeous. Original air conditioner blows strong and cold.
Why is this Jeep so much money you ask? Well, it's a premium vehicle! With 100% confidence, original CJs in this condition or better are extremely few and far between. I've been in the CJ world for quite a few years and this is top 1 or 2 of all the original CJs I have owned. $33,500 or best reasonable offer. Please, reasonable offers only please.
Not sure what else to say about this Jeep. If you have any questions about it, please ask before submitting an offer. $500 immediate deposit due right away. Balance due within 3 business days of purchase via wire transfer or cashiers check. Vehicle is expected to be picked up within 2 weeks or purchase. This is a private-party sale and I have the free and clear title in my name. I'd love to say fly in and drive it home, but remember, it's a 35 year old vehicle. I think it would make it anywhere in the country just fine, but that is up to you. I know for peace of mind I would transport it, but that's just me. If you're from out of town, I have a super reliable auto transporter who I have not been able to beat his prices. I would be glad to relay that information to you, or assist you in getting a quote from him. Or, you can always be old school.....haul your own trailer, come drink a beer with me, and pick up the Jeep yourself. That is sometimes better!
I have opened up this vehicle to be sold world-wide, but the buyer is responsible for all shipping logistics, all associated fees, transports, etc. associated with international shipping. The vehicle must be picked up from my residence.
Good luck and thanks for looking!!
